围棋与中国文化

I am Yōkō Takemiya, President of the International Go Federation.

The IGF was formed in 1982 in Tokyo and is now the world’s leading Go organisation with member associations representing 79 countries and regions.

The World Amateur Go Championship, which is organised annually by the IGF, is known as the Olympics of Go and is being held for the 45th time in 2025.

The first 30 editions of this championship were held in Japan, but since the 31st edition in 2010, it has been held in China and South Korea as well as Japan, and in 2015 in Bangkok (Thailand) and in 2021 in Vladivostok (Russia). The 45th edition in 2025 will be held in Vancouver, Canada. This is the first time the event will be held outside Asia, in North America. We can see that Go is steadily spreading around the world.

We have collaborated with our association members, especially the World Pair Go Association, for the spread of Pair Go as well as Go in the world.

As a mind sport, the IGF is a founding member of International Mind Sports Association (IMSA) and we have cooperated with chess, bridge, draughts, and other mind sports federations to ensure that the game of Go should be more widely recognised and can get recognition from the IOC. The IGF will continue to dedicate to the development of Go in the world and to the achievement of our mission.

我是国际围棋联盟主席武宫阳光。

国际围棋联盟于1982年在东京成立，如今已成为全球领先的围棋组织，拥有代表79个国家和地区的会员协会。

由IGF每年主办的世界业余围棋锦标赛被誉为“围棋奥运会”，2025年将迎来第45届赛事。该赛事前30届均在日本举办；自2010年第31届起，开始在中国、韩国等地轮流举办，2015年落户曼谷（泰国），2021年落地符拉迪沃斯托克（俄罗斯）。2025年第45届将在加拿大温哥华举行，这也是该项赛事首次走出亚洲、登陆北美，标志着围棋正在稳步走向世界。

我们与各成员协会（尤其是世界双人围棋协会）密切合作，共同推动双人围棋及围棋在全球的普及。

作为智力运动的一员，IGF是国际智力运动联盟（IMSA）的创始成员，我们与国际象棋、桥牌、国际跳棋等其他智力运动联合会通力协作，致力于让围棋获得更广泛的认可，并得到国际奥委会（IOC）的承认。IGF将继续致力于推动围棋在全球的发展，践行我们的使命。
